John “Silver Eagle” Siller demonstrated great leadership and was a great role model for our Y-Indian Program. John was an active participant in the Indian Program during his many years in the program and even after all his children graduated.
John brought spirit and enthusiasm to everything he touched. From evolving our Fall “Chief Koda” ceremony to being Longhouse Chief.
The John Siller award is given to an Indian Program member who constantly goes “above and beyond” the call of duty. Our past recipients are listed here and a perpetual plaque is at the YMCA of Orange office.
