WHY THE "Y"?

We are a powerful association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why strengthening community is our cause. Every day we work side by side with our neighbors in 10,000 communities to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Giving back and providing support to our neighbors.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Our Scholarship Program provides financial assistance for YMCA program participants. Scholarships are available, for qualified applicants, through the generous donations from participants, members and residents of our community. Applications are available at our administrative office, for more information call (714) 633-9622.

VOLUNTEERISM

At the Y, we believe when people come together for a common cause, the whole community is strengthened. When you become a volunteer, you have the opportunity to share your blessings with those who need it most. Whether you mentor a student on the verge of dropping out, coach a team to their personal best, your time and talent changes lives. When you help a neighbor, you make a difference in their life . . . and yours.
