BMX RACING
Join other BMX enthusiasts as you race each week around the Y’s American Bicycle Association sanctioned 1,200 foot “double U” racing track designed especially for BMX racers. Whether you are a first timer or an experienced BMX rider, the Y is the place for you.
Race Days: Wednesdays and Fridays- signups 5:30pm – 7:00pm, race time 7:15pm
Sundays- signups 3:00pm – 5:00pm, race time 5:15pm
Location: YMCA Youth Center
Ages: BMX racing is fun for all ages. Racers are grouped by age and experience. Racers range from under age 5 to over 40.
Cost: To participate racers must purchase a $45 yearly membership from the ABA (available on any race day).
Requirements: Racers must wear long sleeved shirts and long pants. Elbow pads and knee pads are recom- mended. A helmet is required and is available for rent at the track.
